Keith P. Walters, PE

Keith Walters, Technical Services Manager at Navajo Transitional Energy Company’s Spring Creek Mine currently serves as President of Montana Coal Council’s Board of Directors. Keith holds a B.S. in Mining Engineering from Penn State. In his current role at Spring Creek Mine, he is responsible for mine planning, Geo-technical services, permitting and compliance operations for the site. Prior to taking his current role at Spring Creek Mine he served in various engineering positions at the Antelope, Black Thunder, and North Rochelle Mines in the Powder River Basin and the Muskingum Mine in southeastern Ohio. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Montana, Wyoming, and Ohio. Keith also enjoys serving our communities as a Paramedic first responder.
